The Guy Hill Schoolhouse was built in 1876, the same year Colorado became a state. It served the canyon locals until 1951 by providing education for students in grades 1-8. This great schoolhouse now sits in the center of Golden Colorado as a nostalgic reminder of our past while the emblem for the school of Mines sits overhead on Mt Zion.
